Deborah quickly connects with clients and their sponsors to get a clear picture of the key issues and the change that is needed. She is engaging, encouraging and reassuring whilst at the same time challenging and probing, helping clients explore new perspectives and ideas and experiment with new ways of bringing out their best.
as a psychologist, Deborah works at a deeper level helping clients convert self-insight and awareness into greater flexibility of thought, behaviour, attitude and long-lasting change.
She addresses the whole person and the system in which they work, seeking shared results and maximum benefits for all. Her interest in the bigger picture of the organisation along with her insightful understanding of individuals enables her to help make links and connections which support these best outcomes.
Excellent listening and pertinent questions are at the heart of great coaching, and are the best way to develop great thinking in clients. Deborah also sees that clients often need suggestions, alternative perspectives and probes and feedback, which they can evaluate for themsleves, in order to master the workability of new ways. She draws on her wide ranging knowledge and experience of management, leadership and psychological models and practice to simply introduce new ideas to support her clients’ paths. Her approach is to help clients focus on what is important in order to bring them to the point of action that enables them to be their best.
Working with Deborah has been different in that her approach has been truly tailored to my needs. Her ability to enquire and challenge and simplify complexity enabled me to gain clarity around fundamental issues and then learn strategies and new pathways to achieve my goals.
